The Great Peanut Butter Push: 1,500 Jars for Gwinnett Kids

Off

Summer is officially here, and at StreetWise, we have a very specific goal for the next 30 days. We call it “The Great Peanut Butter Push.”

When school is out, the “safety net” of school-provided meals disappears for thousands of students in our community. We know that families are feeling the squeeze of higher utility bills and grocery costs. We want to ensure that no child in Gwinnett goes to bed hungry this summer, and we’re starting with one of the most essential, kid-friendly pantry staples: Peanut Butter.

The Goal: 1,500 Jars

We are aiming to collect 1,500 jars of peanut butter to stock our “Heaven’s Grocery Store.” It’s a simple item, but it provides vital protein and energy for growing kids during the long summer break.

How You Can Help

We’ve made it easier than ever to participate, whether you’re a family, a local business, or a small group.

  • The Single: Pick up 1 jar on your next grocery run.
  • The “PB” Pro: Grab a 10-pack to help us hit our goal faster.
  • The Amazon Option: Don’t have time to shop? We have a direct registry set up so you can have it shipped straight to our warehouse door.

Why It Matters

Every jar you donate is a direct answer to a parent’s prayer. When you drop off that peanut butter, you aren’t just donating groceries, you’re providing the fuel a child needs to play, grow, and have a “normal” summer despite the challenges their family may be facing.

Help us reach our 1,500-jar milestone by the end of June. Let’s see how fast we can fill those shelves!
