What an unforgettable night! The 3rd Annual Beyond the Box Gala was nothing short of extraordinary. This event brought together our community to celebrate transformation, hope, and the incredible work being done to move families from dependency to self-sufficiency.
As of today, the 2025 Gala has raised an astounding $309,765, making it our highest-grossing gala yet, and the highest amount raised per attendee in the event’s history. With only 218 guests in attendance (compared to 467 in 2024), this milestone is a powerful testament to the generosity and commitment of our supporters. We’re now just $15,235 away from our stretch goal of $325,000!
From the powerful stories shared and a heartfelt keynote from Kevin Myers, to remarks from our CEO and moments of fellowship throughout the evening, every element of the night reinforced why this mission matters. Together, we are fueling the physical, emotional, and spiritual tools families need to thrive.
Did you know StreetWise Georgia distributes 10% of all donated food in Gwinnett County? Events like the Gala directly support these vital services, ensuring our neighbors in need receive not only resources, but hope.

As many of you know, we recently lost our beloved Executive Director, Tracy Joseph — a faithful servant leader whose vision and compassion shaped StreetWise Georgia for decades. Many of you stood beside Tracy for years as sponsors and partners in this work. You were part of the story he was so proud of.
In his honor, we are moving forward with this event as a celebration of his legacy and the mission he devoted his life to.
For nearly 40 years, StreetWise Georgia has been a beacon of hope in our community — providing food, clothing, hygiene products, and life skills support to help neighbors move from crisis to stability and ultimately toward self-sufficiency for over 42,000 individuals in the year 2025. Working alongside more than 60 community partners, we care for the whole person — body, soul, and spirit — restoring dignity, faith, and hope along the way.
This year, our goal is to raise $400,000 through the gala to sustain and expand these vital programs for families across Gwinnett County. Your participation will directly support this work and allow Tracy’s vision to continue living on through transformed lives.
