Honoring a Legacy, Fueling a Future: A Recap of the Beyond the Box Gala
In April, the StreetWise family gathered at Sugar Hill Church for an intimate evening that honored the life of Tracy Joseph, celebrated the impact throughout our community, and shared how our mission will continue to move forward with strength.
It was a night of deep reflection, but also one of incredible hope. As we shared stories of Tracy’s faith and his “extravagant love” for Gwinnett County, one thing became abundantly clear: the impact of his life and StreetWise’s ongoing impact for families in our community is seen every day.
A Community of Commitment
The 4th Annual Beyond the Box Gala was more than just a fundraiser; it was a gathering of our volunteers, partners, and friends who refuse to let our neighbors stand alone. From the stories shared on stage to the conversations around the tables, the atmosphere was filled with a shared commitment to StreetWise’s vision: that every person who walks through our doors is clothed in dignity.
The Impact: By the Numbers
We set a bold goal of $400,000 to ensure our warehouse remains stocked and our trucks stay on the road. Because of your overwhelming generosity, we are thrilled to share the results of the evening:
Total Amount Raised as of May 14, 2026: $281,845
We are so grateful, and we’re not done yet. We still have ground to cover to reach our goal, and every dollar between now and the finish line matters. If you weren’t able to give at the Gala, this is your moment. Hit the donate button below and help us close the gap.
These funds are the lifeblood of our daily operations. They allow us to manage the logistics of moving massive amounts of food and keep offerings like Heaven’s Grocery Store open for those who need it most.
Tracy often said that this is God’s ministry, and we are simply the hands and feet. Thank you for being those hands and feet. Whether you attended the Gala, sponsored the event, or offered a prayer for our team, you are the reason the StreetWise story is just getting started.
