How StreetWise Georgia’s Holiday Food Boxes Deliver Hope to the Community

The season of gratitude is in full swing, and thanks to the incredible compassion of the community, the StreetWise Georgia warehouse is overflowing with both food and thankfulness! 

Our annual Thanksgiving Mobile Food Pantry was a powerful testament to the generosity of the Gwinnett area. We asked for your help to ensure every local family could enjoy a dignified holiday meal, and your response was massive. 

Delivering Dignity, Not Just Dinner 

For some, the holidays can be a time of intense financial pressure. Our holiday food boxes are designed to alleviate that stress by providing essential items needed for a full, traditional Thanksgiving feast. 

By removing the burden of having to choose between buying groceries and paying a critical bill, the support you provided offers the priceless gift of dignity, peace of mind, and time for family togetherness. We are so proud to partner with you to help our neighbors not just get by, but get ahead. 

A Look at the Numbers: You Showed Up! 

Because of the overwhelming support from churches, schools, businesses, and caring individuals across Metro Atlanta, and as far away as Wisconsin, we are prepared to distribute a record number of holiday meals. 

Here is a glimpse into the impact you created: 

• Total # of ingredients collected: 25,601.

• Total # of Families served: 537 households totaling 2,116 individuals 

• Volunteers Engaged: Over 3,500 hours served (equivalent to 87.5 40-hour work weeks) by 700+ volunteers.
