Celebrating Our Volunteers: A Recap of the Volunteer Appreciation Picnic Palooza!

At StreetWise Georgia, our incredible volunteers are the heartbeat of everything we do, tirelessly serving our community. To celebrate their unwavering dedication and the countless hours they contribute, we recently hosted a Volunteer Appreciation Picnic Palooza during Volunteer Appreciation Week! 

The celebration was filled with laughter and camaraderie as StreetWise volunteers had the chance to mingle, share stories, and simply enjoy each other’s company. The day included a surprise visit from an ice cream truck, special entertainment from the wonderfully talented Yvette, who shared her beautiful voice and led sing-alongs that lit up the room, and exciting raffle drawings that gave back a little joy to those who give so much.  

We kept the celebration going during Volunteer Appreciation Week as volunteers brought out some creative outfits with daily themes and winners, and we’re excited to highlight our best-dressed winners below!
