The Christmas Story

“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David, a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”

This year has been especially difficult for StreetWise, with the loss of our beloved founder, Terry Powell, and the onset of COVID-19, which has changed the way we serve our clients.  This year we will not be having the Birthday Party for Jesus event in the traditional way, which was Terry & Pat Powell celebrated their love of Jesus and shared the good word with families inside our facility.  Terry and Pat celebrated this spectacular event for as long as we can remember. Although things have changed because of COVID-19, StreetWise will still celebrate, rejoice, and spread the word of Jesus Christ on December 19th, Saturday.  Our style may be different since we will be celebrating this wonderful event outside of the StreetWise facility, but be prepared to smile, laugh, and share with us the joy that this day brings.

This is a time to be grateful for what God gives us, be truly blessed for each day we are here, and above all, share in the Love for each other.
