This impact is immense, but that’s not the most special part of StreetWise.
Maybe it's the variety of people touched by StreetWise's work
30,000+
individuals in 8,000+ families
10,000+
children
(not including the 1,300 families served through seven Title I school events)
58
teens who regularly attended TeenWise@StreetWise events
widows who meet for events and programs and
3,000+ seniors
who will soon have their very own food delivery program through StreetWise!
Surely the most important part is the
dozens of families
who graduate from StreetWise’s program and become self-sufficient.
As celebration-worthy as this is, that’s not it either.
could it be the partnerships and people who make StreetWise possible?
After all, more than 70 corporate donors support StreetWise financially and through supplies for events — including food retailers and the Atlanta Community Food Bank.
Not to mention, more than 70 nonprofits partnered with StreetWise for events and 15+ churches support its work.
That’s especially notable when you remember that everything StreetWise does is through JUST 6 STAFF and an army of volunteers — that is, 40,529 hours of volunteer work (with an estimated value of over $1.3 million)
and the average weekday volunteer is 70 years old.
What about the $5.5 million in value of food and supply donations, not to mention monetary support, given to StreetWise?
The 467 attendees at its second-annual gala, which raised $255,555 and funded the installation of their courtyard canopy, truck and additional cooler and freezer?
Is it the more than 210,938 people engaged through StreetWise’s social media accounts?
That must be it… right?
Even their incredible blessings aren't what makes StreetWise Special.
It’s how StreetWise budgets for prayer — and trusts God to show up in it,
even dedicating a portion of the building to a chapel.
It’s that StreetWise meets — both staff and volunteers — every day for prayer time.
It’s that every client at every event StreetWise hosts is offered prayer.
It’s the modern-day miracle of Jesus’ work multiplying the fish and loaves.
And it’s only possible through a very big, very generous God.
As a result of HIS work, tens of thousands of prayers have been lifted up,
thousands have heard the gospel and
