Beauty All Around! Prom Starganza 2018

Prom Starganza is a great event that StreetWise Georgia and Gwinnett County DFCS have been honored to partner on for the last seven years. Those of us who have been around awhile are struck with a different kind of awe and excitement as Prom Starganza 2018 receives its own Cinderella-style makeover. The Prom event has been hosted at StreetWise every year since its beginning and we are happy to announce that Prom Starganza will be in the our new StreetWise building. We will be able to make use of our impressive Sonshine room, and large office spaces, which will allow us to serve more young men and women, but will also afford the opportunity to add a few important professional touches. The dress boutique, beauty salon, and gentleman’s outfitter will each have their own unique space. Our staff and volunteers are so excited to see the students happy, and to be able to pair them with their perfect tux or gown. And be personally assisted by shoppers, hair stylists, and make-up artists to add the finishing touches.

With every year Prom Starganza gets bigger and better, and we can’t wait for this year’s Prom Starganza event on Saturday, March 3rd, 2018!

Looking for volunteers for the following positions: Shopper Assistants, Dress Salon Hostesses, Men’s Store Assistants, Jewelry Station, Make-Up & Hair Hostesses, Shoe Boutique, Nail Bar Hostesses, Alteration Runners, and Take- Down Crew.

Pre-Event Setup & Decorations:  Friday, March 2, 2018  10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Prom Starganza Event:  Saturday, March 3, 2018  9:00 am – 4:00 pm  (Take-down Crew 3:30 pm – 7:30 pm)
